Here’s a look at the Motorola Milestone, a UMTS 3G smartphone that is functionally the same as the DROID offered in the USA. Russell shows off the multitouch zooming in the browser and Maps app. More info: www.mobileburn.com

Will this work with my AT&T 3G SIMS CARD? I read it does I just want to confirm before I decide to buy it unlocked.
Its not that laggy on my Milestone its nice and smooth tbh.
It wasn’t even Motorola - Russell had left it at the office by mistake and wanted to show that there was still a charger. Would have been better if he just said he forgot it…
why did you try and hide the euro/us charger when it clearly wasnt uk?
Don’t know about Tmobile, but the Milestone coming to Telus in Canada will support the 850/1900MHZ 3G spectrum. Make you sure if you buy it unlocked to use on AT&T that you get the correct version by checking the UMTS, aka 3G, bands. Otherwise it will only run on edge.
Hmmm….I thought all UK Milestone versions came in QWERTZ style keyboard.
so will it work on all usa carriers? like 3g? on att and t-mo?
the milestone/droid just has an unattractive design imo. keyboard looks small but great phone
not in BC
Mutli touch looks choppy, compared to my shiny new Nexus one!! ;o)
dont forget about canada has the milestone… -_-!
when do you think you’ll be able to get your hands on the motoroi for review?
hehe i’m sure u mean 2009
You’ll see a 2.1 update from what we’re hearing from Moto at this point.
is the android OS upgradeable to 2.1?
Just something to bear in mind …
I’ve had mine since December 2010 and still awaiting the bug fixes (2.0.1). This will fix the badly-broken camera focus bug
The hardware is great. The Android O/S is generally good too (Once the bugs have been ironed out)
Also worth a mention that only the FREE apps are currenty available in the UK market. To get around this use MarketEnabler (although you need to ROOT the phone for this)
When will companies get scroll right? It’s so fast it’s crazy
